RVD Consulting Engineers were engaged to peer review the hydrologic and hydraulic modelling for the City of Gold Coast's Greenheart Park Development. Our expertise mediated between the relevant stakeholders on engineering matters relating to flooding.
We helped our client gain approval for a residential redevelopment which didn't have flood free access. Our FEMP highlighted to Council how the development could proceed despite not meeting the Flood Code.
Our clients often need to illustrate the severity of a past storm to their insurance provider for claiming purposes. Our RPEQ reports provide an independent assessment of a storm's rainfall and aid in differentiating between pluvial (stormwater) or regional flooding to the insurer.
We assessed the flood impacts of potential development in Paradise Point and aided in the approval of the development by addressing the Flood Overlay Code.
Our expertise helped our client gain approval for a rural business which installed a new carpark and facilities to cater for a growing business. We assessed the development from a Healthy Waters Code assessment perspective which included a Stormwater Management Plan and MUSIC (water quality) modelling.
This project involved the client building a larger residence on a canal frontage which encroached within the waterway setup area. Our Coastal Erosion Hazard Overlay response letter assessed the hydraulic impacts and supported the approval of the development.
